We’re officially at T-2 weeks before the movie come out, people! Are you excited?

Seriously though, I think that we’re all gearing up for the movie premiere. And speaking of gear, you might want to check out the outstanding selection of merchandise HERE! I’ve heard that there are a bunch of students and teachers at Hart County High School who have been loading up on Twilight stuff so that they can see the movie IN STYLE.
I’m very torn. I just love so many of them, that I don’t know what to buy!
ANYWAY, I should get to what YOU need to be commenting on this week, shouldn’t I?
I would like you, dear readers of Twilight who have not finished the book, to make a prediction. What do you think WILL happen to our characters by the end of this first book of four? Then, on the other side of things, tell me what you think SHOULD happen by the end of the book.
What you think WILL and SHOULD happen most of the time will not be the same. Sometimes they are, but in real life what you believe will happen occasionally not identical to what does. One of my family’s favorite jokes is that every time my brother would get in trouble, the first thing out of his mouth was always, “Well, I didn’t think THAT would happen.” I think that illustrates my point. Characters in books make choices, just like people. Tell us where you think the characters’ choices in Twilight will lead them and where those choices would take them if it were a “perfect” world.

well i am half way through the first book and i nonestly think that by the end of the first of four books i think that edward and his brothers and sisters will have got very close to bella and edward and bella will be in love… this is a very interesting book and i am very anxious to read the rest of the book and i hope those who are reading it and not finished are gettin very anxious and like the books as much as i do if not more…..
but honestly i think by the end of the book that every one should know about vampires and the other mythical creatures and that some can be good and some are bad.. and they should be aware of the things that are in there commmunity…. and that edward should be in love with bella and be able to control himself so that he can be around bella anytime and anywhere… but i dont think that will happen….

I knew that by the end that Edward’s family would be closer to Bella. I agree with Jennifer, except I have already finished all four books ;D
Also thank HCHS for organizing this event! If I didn’t join the Twilight Club I don’t think I was going to see the movie for a while!

I am on either chapter 8 or 9 and I think that their will be a big misunderstanding between Edward and jacob. Because they both like Bella but I think that either Jacob or Edward will think that one of them will hurt Bella but that is what I think will happen.
To me what should happen is that Jacob should become a VERY close friend to Bella but not to close to Bella to where they are pratically going out. But he should accept that bella and him don’t sound like a very wonderful couple as much as Bella and Edward do and that is what I think should happen.

Whats UP!!!!! Tris here I think Edward and Bella should get married at the end of the book. That is what I think should happen at the end of the book. Also Bella and Edward should stay in forks and Edward turn Bella into a vampire.

Well, Ive read all the books and honestly I think they are one of my 10 favorite books. I am a team Alice girl, come on who would bet against Alice. :^D
I think Bella’s choice to go to Forks led her to Edward because no one would see a vampire running around in Pheonix or anywhere in Florida or Califonia for that matter come on people really?
OH! I almost forgot, my sister bought a T-shirt for twilight and I think it says something like “real men sparkle” or something like that. I want a “Team Alice” or one of those “where will you be?” shirts.

Thanks, Jennifer, for your kind words. I hope that everyone is enjoying the online component of our Book Club experience. Do you talk to your sister about the books at home, too? If you had to leave LG and go on to the high school, at least you got to have a cool librarian like Mrs. Day if you couldn’t have me around.
And Mrs. Scott, I’m totally torn about what I should order! I could easily go (more) broke by buying all kinds of stuff!
Nice predictions so far, student-types! I can’t wait to see the movie either! Countdown is at 10 days!!!

While I was reading Twilight I was absolutely for sure that Bella was going to become a vampire. I didnt want her to because I thought she would regret it.
I believe in the next book Jacob and Bella will grow father apart, and Edward and Bella will grow that much closer [at least thats what I hope will happen].

On the other hand i think Edward shouldn’t turn Bella into a vampire because she has so much life to live but it is sad to think that she would be older than him and would grow old. I’m on about the 13th or 14th chapter and I think Bella and Edward are gonna hook up and somethin bad is gonna come out of it because you know (He’s not human). Because thats always what happens with sappy romance novels… they fall in love somethin bad happens and they get back together. Maybe I’m right, maybe I’m wrong but remember…. she said PREDICTIONS!!!

I have read the complete series. While Twilight is really good, I feel like Breaking Dawn was the best book. It was by far my favorite…a lot more suspense, drama, and adult content.
I am so excited to see the movie. I really hope that they don’t change the book too much…I hate it when a book is really good and then you watch the movie and it is like-BLAH!

At first i thought i thought that twilight was going to be just another one of those sappy mushy love stories, where two teenagers fall in love and meet their demise at the end. but It is so much more than that! Twilight is so addicting that its almost impossible to put the book down.
I love how edward has so many feelings toward Bella.
At the beginnig you think that Edward hates Bella but later figure out that he was avoiding her for a good reason….i dont want to spoil the book by revealing the key parts, so im just gonna end that there.
I think that edward should turn Bella into a vampire because he is obviously rediculously in love with her. And its hard to believe that he could go on through his endless life without her.
Well i think i’ve said enough.

But since the expectations for it are so high i believe that many readers are just going to be disapointed.
Regardless, i think that the book will ALWAYS overshine the movie. And that goes for any major motion picture potraying a book.

It’s me again! =D I love the way Stephenie Meyer describes all the characters in the book, and how explanatory, and descriptive she is. She puts in so much sensory details in the book, like the meadow scene, saying he sparkled like diamonds. I think Bella/Kristen and Edward/Rob have GREAT chemistry in the movie. =D haha I get to see it twice! But what my favorite part is the VERY end of the movie. It sets up perfecetly for New Moon. But how it does it, well, wait till the movie!!! =D

i agree with katie because twilight is a great book and i even got my mom to read it she loves it. im trying to convince my bestie to read it but she is such a fraidy cat and wont do it but i told her it is a romance novel (yea a vampire and a human falling in love while the vampire is trying not to kill the human sounds soooo romantic).i also agree with kelsey day because stephanie meyer describes everything in great detail and it is wonderful in the battle scene how she describes everything.i also saw the movie (the day it came out with a bunch of my bffls)and the book is a whole lots better than the movie. if you want to see the movie read the book first so you know what your in for!!!!!!!

And calebt, I may not have read anything past the first TWILIGHT, but it was a great book. Plus, I dont read too many book just because. And I cant wait to see the movie. Hi, my name is Courtney. I finished “Twilight” about 2 weeks ago. I’m reading “New Moon” now. Let me just say that once you read “Twilight” you have got to read the other books in the series. Those books are “New Moon”, “Eclipse”, “Breaking Dawn”, and soon to be a book “Midnight Sun”.
I also hope that Bella eventually turns into a vampire aswell. That way she could be with Edward forever. They make such a good couple. I think Jacob just needs to go away. He better face the fact that he is never going to be with Bella now that she’s with Edward. Edward is a whole lot beetter than Jacob.
“New Moon” is mostly about Jacob. I don’t know what “Eclipse ” is about yet. I have heard that “Breajing Dawn” is more about Edward and Bella’s relationship. I can;t wait until they publish “Midnight Sun”. I heard that It’s about Edward’s perspective of “Twilight”. That would be cool to read.

i’ve read all books they are really good my Fav is breaking dawn,eclipse,new moon,then twilight i like breaking dawb b/c it tells more of what happed. some people dont like rose but when you read breaking dawn you understand more of what she did and why she did it so rose rocks idc what anybody says. EMMETT is so hot then it is edward.my fav characters are 1.emmett,2 edward,3,alice 4,rose ,5 bella,6 renesmee and more and they all rock .

TWILIGHT series= to me twilight books manily talks about bella point of view then that is why stephine meyer is coming out with midnight sun and the whole book is what edward thinks of bella in twilight and i found out that stephine meyer said in a maginze that edward was telling lies to bella. I cant wait tell the book comes out. I really miss the books really bad .

TWILIGHT is the only book in the saga i’ve read, but my grandma is sending TWILIGHT & NEW MOON to our house for my mom so she can read them, but i might read NEW MOON with her.
P.S i saw the movie, and it’s pretty good!
